Statement by the Assistant Dean

In the name of Allah, the merciful and compassionate

Thank Allah who taught the use of the pen and taught man that which he knew not. All praise be to Allah, and peace and blessings be upon the most noble of Messengers, Prophet Mohammed, and upon his family and companions.
Education lies at the center of development in all societies. Since university education is the cornerstone for preparing the required calibers to achieve development, the Ministry of Education in Saudi Arabia has undertaken to reflect the vision of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques in promoting and developing public and private education. The positive impact achieved through this vision gave rise to a series of broad national successes. We have strong faith that this blessed country and its wise leaders give particular attention to the projects which aim at human development. The outset of these projects was establishing Al-Ghad International College for Applied Medical Sciences which stands as one of the private colleges in Qassim region. The College in Qassim, together with other affiliates of Al-Ghad International College in various regions across the Kingdom, gives great concern to higher health education. The Female Students’ Section, established in 1430 A.H, only included the Nursing Department as a starting phase.

Al-Ghad International College is heading towards broader and more comprehensive phases due to our belief in the critical importance of higher health education and its role in building national, competent calibers in one of the most significant fields of development. In this context, two additional departments were inaugurated for female students, namely, the Medical Imaging Technology Department and the Emergency Medicine Department.

It is worth noting that Al-Ghad International Colleges for Applied Medical Sciences offer equal opportunities to all applicants who meet the conditions for knowledge acquisition and training based on the values of justice, integrity, efficiency, individual competence, transparency and equality. The Colleges’ admission policy is based on linking specialties with the labor market and ensuring compatibility with the requirements for health development in the Kingdom. At the heart of its educational programs and plans, the Colleges also comply with the highest standards and best scientific practices around the globe to realize excellence and ensure that the highest levels of qualification and training are provided to students of both genders who are considered the beneficiaries and top strategic partners in the educational process.

Finally, I beseech Almighty God that the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia occupies a place of dignity, prestige and high standing under the leadership of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques.
